You know, I’ve been cocooning over here for a while. Building foundational pieces to my biz, healing my heart, getting back to live painting, bringing passion projects to life.

I’ve been

midnight writing:

I can’t stop seeing it.
all the suffering.
all the pain that people carry.
tucked away quietly behind the conversations we are having.
like delicate flowers pressed to our chest,
leaving faint outlines of something that was o

this project is very much in process.
it feels edgy to show parts of the drawing process before I’ve come back through to ‘pretty it up’

to make it presentable.
as though every single part of us

the creative cocoon is such an integral part of the creative process.

one that isn’t talked about as much.

how much is happening under the surface when we are not actively creating.
